Unfortunatly pit bulls are one of the most gassy dogs..
Eukanuba is top of the line dog food. the downfall of the food is its too rich and it makes the dog stink. try changing slowly his food to Chicken Soup for the Puppy Lovers Soul or Innova Evo. Chicken Soup is human grade food and Innova Evo is the closest food to raw on the market. Innova Evo is also Hi Protein and low carb. theres also no grain!!
I would stay away from the wet food. Its alright to give a dog wet food everyonce in a while, just stick to the same brand as the dry food!

Its the chow my freind. I have two labs and a apt and of the lot the bullie is the gas champ. If I get a food with a lot of fillers then look out all three try to fuel a hot air ballon. Cut the wet dog food he doesnt need it, it just makes you feel good to be such a great master. Science diet is good but so is eukanuba. Fess up what kind of treats are you dealing out, table scraps lunch meat chips cheese? All will give your bullie gas. If the gas is too persistant he could have a digestion problem at which time I would suggest a trip to your vet, but apts are gasy guys but great dogs enjoy.

Put a large rock (or some other large, heavy object that your dog can't eat) in the food bowl with his food. Sounds crazy, but this helps reduce the amount of air that gets swallowed with the food. It helps prevent a condition called Bloat (which can be deadly), and helps reduce flatulence in dogs. There is also a new bowl specifically designed for this (well, for the Bloat part of it at least!) that has some raised areas in the bowl that make it necessary for the dog to eat more slowly and gulp less. Good luck!

Eukanuba is an okay premium food, i always recomend holistic brands like eaglepack and wellness. but alpo could be the reason. too much wet food could also be the reason. there is really no reason to feed more than one wet canned food a day. and that being said, make sure its a good brand. anything you can buy at walmart or other convinent stores are usually no good to dogs and cats.....

The wet Alpo food probably doesn't help. Also neither Eukanuba or Alpo are high quality foods. I'd suggest switching to Solid Gold, Canidae, Wellness, or Merrick.

I have to open windows also. When I feed Ol'roy my Pitt had really bad gas. I change her over to Dog Chow and now she is not so gassy.
my friend's dogs where always gassy on Alpo.
Plus, I don't know, but I don't think wet or dry maters. i only feed dry and my pitt still had gas

try to go for a higher quality kibble, and cut down the wet food. it could be the fillers in the food you are feeding. try to find a food that has meat as the first ingredient. some dogs are just gassy, bullies especially. mine isn't super gassy, but when he does let one fly, he then turns around and looks at his rear end like "what was THAT!?"

All Bully breeds are notorious for it. Nothing you can do about it. I do have a crazy aunt that feeds her dog beano tablets and she swears by it....I have 2 american bulldogs but I have never tried it. I just open the windows in my house.

Hi..It is probably the wet food doing that..you should only give your puppy dry food. You can add a little warm water to make it softer for him. Hills prescription diet is the best dry food for your puppy. Good luck
