If it is, what does it do? I have been told that it is bad, but I don't see why. I am a biology major (senior) and have had lots of chemistry. It doesn't seem to be that bad.

i agree, i'm a nurse and have always loved lemons. my kids have loved lemons and they basically have not had cavities. i would say, the benefit of vitamin c outweighs the risk of decay from the natural acids.

It's bad.. the acid from the lemon eats off the enamel of the tooth which after awhile isn't looking too good. It is actually called something like demineralization. The minerals, calcium, and phosphate are lost from the enamel surface. This is after a period of time.. but it still isn't good for the teeth from the acid. Same thing as putting a baby to bed with a bottle.. you can't do that bc that sitting on the tooth all night can make the teeth rot.

I don't believe that the child is eating so much lemon that can cause enamel distruction because of the citric acid...
Do you imagine living without eating all those great fruits that are containing citric acid???what a vitamin loss would that be...??!!!!

Oh my gosh! how are you able to easily consume lemons? they're so bitter. Lol. anyhow, you may ask your popular practitioner to make particular, yet i might say it would be effective as long as you're eating a balanced weight loss plan.
