why did my ex want to fight the guy that told me?

Maybe he still has a thing for you. He was probably planning to have both of you on the side. Typical!! Maybe you are better off not having this guy by the sounds of it. Count your lucky stars, that you found out what he is really like. Looks like that other guy saved you from being played.

If he was your ex bF then you should really move on and You should not care what he do with his new girl... and now your ex want to fight that guy who told you??? so you telling me that you found out from a guy and you told your ex that guy told me that blah blah this and that... Correct????
Well, I guess You are in to this plm not just guy and ex bf you are in to it too... If you don't care what your ex doing with his new girl and guy told you and you should say to that guy... Really I don't care and I have move my life.. and Not my business to know about them... But you didn't you had to hear it... and say it...
So, I guess you learn something today and you would never get in to this again... Maybe not.

Sounds like he just wants you to have the ability to move on....maybe he's just a genuine good guy who doesn't want to hurt you. I'd imagine that you broke up on reasonably good terms and he just doesn't want to ruin that. Maybe guys aren't all bad, after all..?
ON second thought, maybe he just wants a chance to get back with you in the event that things don't work out with her and he's afraid if you know he's dating, you won't take his calls.
Did you break up on good terms? Do you still see him on a regular basis, whether at work, school, or with friends? How long did you date? It all depends on that stuff, really.....

Because he is imature, or maybe just broke up with you to get with this female, and planed to get back with you when he was done with her. But my first answer is probably the most likely of the two. Tell him to grow up, and if not then just have that other guy kick his a**.

Your ex is ignorant, sooner or later you were going to find out, if he didn't want you to find out then why put it out there for others to see!!! Gossip is something that will never go out of style...He is immature and needs to grow up!!! Keep your head up, you will find someone who knows how to deal with a real woman!!!

the magic word here is "ex". he is your ex and evidently seeing someone else. why does it matter if he wanted to fight the person who told you or not?
