I just broke up with my boyfriend last night...we dated for a little over 5 months so i know it's not a really long time...but we were planning on going to prom together. He's been excited about it and talking about it since december! it's not till may, but i was wondering, is it okay if i still ask him to go with me? or would that be wrong bc i broke up with him? we are still going to be friends and he's even talking to me, but is this wrong?

I went ot my junior prom with friend and it was great. If you guys are going to stay friends and neither of you are dating anyone else by the time prom comes...why not. At least you would be going with someone you care about even if you are no longer in love.

prove to him that he's not the guy that you are interested in anymore since he broke up with you....and have a good time don't think about him...i am going to prom with my younger sister and i know that i will still have great time! HELLO GIRLS NITE!

No I think it would be ok to ask him to prom, I went to prom three times and twice with a friend and I had a much better time with friends than I did with my date.

go ahead and ask him... maybe he will maybe he wont.. but at least u will know.... if he says no.... go find another date.. or go alone.... dance with the guys with no date.... and have fun with ur friends... you dont need a date to have fun u know... at least u have memories of the prom... and a date shouldnt matter.

of course not...ask him...if everything is fine between you guys and your just friends it'll be alright, he'll enjoy it. just make sure if you are completely done he might think that feelings could spark up again and he'll be crushed...don't foget that prom is like a "date"....don't mislead him.

don't go with him. pick the biggest jock and then get laid and make sure everybody knows. have fun. if you are thinking these thoughts now, what will you do after. go out. have fun. no regrets.
