How many dim wits does it take to get the answer wrong???
Of course anyone who ever saw a dalmatian belly knows they're spotted inside and out!
and the skin spot are pretty much where the fur spot are!

like one other person stated dalmatians are born with all white fur. As they get older the skin pigments start becoming spots and than transferring onto the fur. So both.

They are spotted on both, but mostly on there fur. If it what just on the skin you would see the spots but they would not be so dark.

All dalmations are born pure white, the spots appear when they get older. It's in their skin and the fur when they have matured.

the natural colour any mammal which is the category for a hound is as natural without any spots of any kind there for spots woukd be found the coat of the dalmatian.
