First off, I was not a supporter of the Iraq war. But now Saddam is gone and the people there have a chance to have a free country. But I keep hearing muslims point out how many innocent muslims the American military has killed. They fail to mention the huge number of muslims that are killed by extremist groups such as Al-quaeda, Taliban, and the various sunni and Shiite insurgent groups. I don’t see how our military killing 10 terrorist suspects and the 10 family members that were traveling with them is worse than 20 totally innocent muslims being killed just for going to work, school, or a mosque. It seems to me they would pick the lesser of two evils, and rally behind our military to help bring a stable government to Iraq. Let me know what you think.

'Muslims' aren't a single homogenous group. All have different opinions. One man's freedom is another man's slavery.

First of all they are not insurgents. They are citizens fighting for their country. Just as we would if we were invaded by a foreign people. Secondly they (Muslims) do not prefer a dictatorship over
democracy. The Muslim people want to continue to live by the old letter of the law, such as an eye for an eye. Women not being able to wear clothing which reveals their bodies and faces. Women not being able to interact with other men they are not married to. People having their hands cut off for stealing. Eyes gouged out for looking at another man's wife and vice versa.
Their form of government has been around for more than 2 thousand years. My question to you is why do you think we have to democratize these Muslims countries. They are not trying to convert us to their beliefs.

"free nations"? .. what freedom is that when everyone gets out from his home watching carefuly their steps for the soldier carrying an advance weapon pointing at him... no such a thing called freedom, they say freedom just to shut people up. but no such a thing called freedom. and dictatorships sucks but in some culture it can be a solution to some problems.

Islam is such a repressive religion, I don't believe it is possible for them to engage in democracy.

Don't get me wrong, I fully support the President and what he is trying to do. I just don't believe it will work in a Muslim society

Moslems generally are more conservative in their religious beliefs. They do not want women to enjoy freedom from male domination, they do not want the exercise of freedom of expression if that also includes sexual expression, etc.
