I've found the best medicines used to treat schizophrenia are the newer medications. Risperdal, seroquil, depakote. Those are the ones I am on, and they have few side effects. I was on older medications before they switched me to newer ones and the older ones make you feel miserable. I felt anxious, twitchy, constantly tired like i had narcolepsy, and unmotivated to do anything. I'm so glad they have come out with newer better medications. They stop all the horrible symptoms of schizophrenia. I feel normal finally!!!

This is not a job for home quack medicines. It is not a job for someone who thinks that mental health is not as real as physical health, and that you can somehow switch on "happy thoughts". You need professional help. If you are poor there are almost always programs to help you get what you need. Ask your local Community Action people. Now that we know nearly all forms of mental illness are caused by chemical imbalances in the brain, they can indeed be treated by pills, etc. If you were diabetic, you'd think there was nothing wrong with taking insulin every day. It's like that. The new meds don't make you feel drugged and sleepy like the old ones.

Forget anything you have ever been told about Diabetes.

And get this - it has nothing to do with insulin, exercise, diet or anything else you've heard in the past. It's all based on latest breakthrough research that Big Pharma is going Stir Crazy to hide from you.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/dUdI2

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

For sandwich-lovers, use spinach or swiss chard leaves as an alternative to a wrap, skip the piece of cheese, and load standing on the veggies.
