We used hurricane candles, votives, rose petals, and mirror tiles for our centerpieces. They were nice yet inexpensive. This website has some good ideas you might want to consider:

For favors we made custom cd's to go with our Motown theme. But you can never go wrong with candy. You can purchase some bulk candy (hershey's kisses, jordan almonds, mints, etc.)and wrap them in tulle. These would make nice yet inexpensive favors.

This isn't a answer so much to your question, but a suggestion for you. If your on a tight budget, you can place 2 to 3 disposable camera's in the center of each table, along with your center pieces. Then during the wedding, people will see something cute or nice and snap a picture. You can get them all developed after the wedding and it's amazing all the wonderful pictures you will get that you might have never had otherwise. Let your guests be your second set of eyes.

I was at a wedding last weekend that was done on a budget and they used white and pink table clothes with very cute wedding confetti sprinkled in the center of the table and small pink candles down the middle of the table, all lit. Candles are very nice to use. Each candle was on a pretty paper doily. Just a thought. Best wishes to you!

For favors she could desire to deliver a slice of cake domicile with anybody, make a frost cake shaped cookies and wrap in cellophane. She could additionally get organza bags or perhaps little tins (around, field or heart shape) and fill them with wedding ceremony butter mints, Jordan almonds or the different small candy. in spite of you decide on for on be valuable to analyze EBAY! I scored on some photograph physique coasters. i got here upon distinctive sellers who had to many from their wedding ceremony and have been advertising them airborne dirt and dirt decrease priced.

I'm not sure of your theme but as everyone else has said, candles are very inexpensive and can be utilized in multiple ways. Holders or containers can be endless.
Oriental Trading Co. does offer a wide selection of very reasonably priced favors, matter of fact I ordered the bride and groom rubber duckies to use in mine.
Here is link to a site that I found quite useful and had lots of good info,

I went to a wedding that had all sorts of sizes of candles and candle holders all down the tables. The candles were all white and the holders were white, clear or frosted and at the end of the evening all the guests were to take home a candel holder. The tables look just beautiful with all the different candels lit up and there were rose pedals and ribbon sprinkled around them.

candles are a good centerpiece. you can find them on the internet for whole sale prices most of the time. for favors what i did was i took tea light candles and wrapped them in tulle of our wedding colors (hunter green and white), then glued on printed ribbon with our names and date onto them. i also added a small fabric rose bud (you can find these at any craft store, like michaels). i also found some gold pearl beading that was on a string, formed it into small loops and glued that to the favors for more decoration. something like that would work well, and arnt to expensive.

favors..
-small heart shape candies wrapped up in a lace or see through cloth with a tag that has the date the groom and brides name and a little note saying thanks for sharing this special moment with yous.

-Same as above, but use any kind of candies or mints

Centerpieces..
have a small glass bowl with tea candles floating on top, filled with water, can add some little fish to make it look really nice.

you can have fake/silk flowers that look really real like and just get a few larger flowers for each table and place in a tall thin vase

Congrads!!

buy the little sachet bags and put almonds in it. (almonds candy mean goo-luck) give as a wedding favor oh and get ribbon printed with yours and groom name and date of the wedding. Centerpieces just get candles in a votive cup and put some sand with seashells, place the candles on a mirror with glass beads.

I like to tie in favors and centerpieces to the "theme" of a wedding. e.g One wedding the bride had a pyramid of strawberries and creme instead of a wedding cake. So, we used mini terra-cotta pots (bride and groom's names /date hand painted by the bridal party) with mini strawberry plants as the favors. Try to tie in things you know people will want to take home and will remind them of how much fun they had at your wedding.

What is your theme?

For centerpieces try rose bowls or large based vases and put a lilly, rose, or another large flower that will float in the top. Put a fish in the water!--beta fishes look great. Forget the favors--people don't need them, nor should they expect them.
