Take it back!
Best Buy is a jerk. They tell you that Windows Vista is great when they are not.
Tell them that Windows Vista is a incomplete operation system.
Microsoft Programmer said that it 99.5% completes, does that make it right to sell a broken operation system?
Regarding to Scallawag's comment:
If Windows Vista is still a beta then why are they being sold for over $100 - $1000. Beta version are for testing not to be used as a resale.
Beta still show that the operation system under testing but we computer users want a reliable LEAST instable operation system.
My question is ... is Beta version alway stable?
No they are not!

Dear Johnny,
Vista doesn't suck.. it's just going through what we, in the software industry, like to call.. BETA testing.
That means the product is working, for the most part, and they need people to test it out.
Generally most competent software producers have a controlled group of folks they invite to test their software and give them feedback in a way that they can improve on the product very efficiently and in a very short period of time.
Microsoft is notorious for releasing their software as FINAL versions with tons of glitches and problems with the coding that they have "autogathered" by the little "would you like to report this problem to microsoft?" box that pops up when the system detects an error code.
My suggestion:
Never buy any software when it's still version 1.0
Always wait until the suckers that just CAN'T wait go buy it and spend all their time being a test audience. Once the software is updated a few times (with Microsoft this would be like a year later) then it'll probably be safe to pick it up with the knowledge that you'll probably have many many patches to download by then.
In the meantime.. I'd suggest doing a system restore back to XP.. a pain, to be sure, but definitely worth it when you consider the time you're going to lose trying to get VISTA to even work.

I think it's a combination of both. My vista PC ran extremely slow, I got that taken care of for the most part. If you want to know how I did that go to my answer profile click on my question and click on the first one about down grading back to XP. One of the answers helped me out a lot. Now I have issues w/ video randomly cutting out on me. I already updated me video drivers and the only thing that did was let me recover the video quicker. It still cuts out on my and all Acer can say is that the Internet isn't updated yet. So maybe I should call the Pentagon and yell at them for not making the Internet compatible w/ Vista.

You know, I demoed Vista, and to tell you the truth, it really does suck, so don't think you have bad luck. As for not being able to fine WoW, you might want to try hitting Start+F, but do it quickly, and once the search bar comes up, type in the program file you saved WoW as. The search should initiate. If it dosen't, try searching the prgram files manually. If it won't work at all I would suggest re-installing Windows XP 2000.
Sorry for the bad luck.
