I'm told to read the bible but which one?
The Catholic, protestant, greek orthodox, ethiopian coptic?????
I'm confused which is the true christian way its all about power and making people feel guilty if you dont go to a particular church.

First you must know that not all claiming to be a Christians is truly a Christian.Why?
1John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but prove the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
See, not everyone is of GOD.
Where is the true Christians?
John 12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honor.
The answer is very clear through our Lord Jesus, true Christians is where Christ is.
Next question,where is Christ?Is Christ is in every religion?the answer is a big NO.Then, where is Christ so you can find also the true Christian.
Hebrews 3:6 but Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we hold fast our boldness and the glorying of our hope firm unto the end.
Christ is in the house of GOD according to the verse.
Question:What is the house of GOD where Christ rule?
1Timothy 3:15 but if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how men ought to behave themselves in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.
The answer is the Church of GOD.This Church you must cleave to find true Christians.
Not fellowship nor crusade nor ministry.

U could give Methodist a try. We aren't mean in saying u gonna go to hell for being the way u are. Also we're very open minded or at least I am. So give that a try to see if u like it. The services don't last too long and are mostly just on Sundays.

Find one in your community that is doing work you agree with, whether it be opposing the war in Iraq, supporting the war in Iraq, feeding the homeless, cleaning up parks, knocking on doors selling the "Watchtower" magazine when honest people are still asleep, helping out at a battered women's shelter, running a child-care program, supporting single-sex marriage, opposing single-sex marriage, etc. etc.
You won't agree with their theology 100%. It would be a dull congregation if everyone believed exactly alike. Look for one that lets people disagree on minor matters but work together for major ones.
