This was a great episode. I really was proud of David at the end when he said he would defend the Muslim people from now on.

I agree with the first answer. He didn't need to be forced to dress like that. A loose shirt and loose fitting pants would have been just fine. Same for the women. Nowhere does it say she must dress like that. He did a great thing and I admire him for it. I admire him for his patience and his sincerity to learn about something which he did not understand.

I'm not exactly sure what your question is but here's my two cents anyway...

I loved that episode. Ever since 9/11 there has been an accepted hatred of Muslims and the Islamic religion. Most of this hatred is based on half-truths. People that hate Muslims have most likely never read the doctrine of Islam or the Qu'ran and thus their hatred is based on pure ignorance. This episode put one such person to the test and showed the rest of the viewers (as much as you can in one hour) what Islam is about and that these people are not all terrorists.

Well done Morgan!

I thought it was a great episode. I used to live in Dearborn, and know some of the people he talked to! They didn't have to make him wear a kufi and grow a beard though. Islam is much more complex than just growing a beard and dressing a certain way.

Sometimes to understand a person you have to walk in their shoes.

Is this even a question?

Whatever, I agree. I wish everyone had to do that.
