You know what? This is kind of insulting to say you settled. You may it seem like the person you settle with is a second place prize like how Scarlett O'Hara did every man because he was not Ashley Wilkes. Now, Rhett Butler was her match, and when she realized she really did love him, it was too late, becuase she made him feel like a second place prize.
Do not make the mistake of saying you settled for someone. You are blessed they want to be with you. That is far enough right thereto connect with them.

If you don't have a connection then they are not the perfect person for you....notice I didn't say they were perfect. No one is. That mental connection is so important in a relationship...I don't care if they are loaded, take great care of you, buy you anything you want, say all the right things, etc....if you don't feel that magnetic 'pull', it's not worth wasting your time. Life is too short to 'settle'.

That happened to me when I was 19 years old. I thought he was the one but we didn't have a real connection so I broke it off with him. I think it's important to have that connection. Now that I'm 24 years old I wouldn't settle again. Maybe that's why I've been single for 2 years. HMMMMM....lol
