It means that there are true Christians and false Christians. Not everyone claiming to follow him are acceptable to him and he will soon remove the false ones.

WOW. I in basic terms examine some solutions and for the main section those the place slightly puzzled. One individual became talking appropriate to the myth of the forms of lands. Then the Rafebomb guy became good on the money until the final section the place he mentioned that the wheat might bypass to heaven and the weeds to hell. Swindled(yet another consumer that responded) sounded so puzzled. He made me forget what the question became. yet I_B_WHO(yet another consumer that responded) became good on the money, the only component that i might upload is that the weeds (which incorporate ALL who do not DO what God asks human beings)will perish for ever in Armageddon. As for the wheat, (which incorporate ALL who DO as God asks human beings)those will stay in paradise, ruled by potential of the recent Kingdom.

My understanding is that our life is the raw wheat. The weeds are sin, and the enemy are those that plant false truth. As farmers threw the raw material up in the air, the wind blew the lighter chaff away and what fell back was the finished product. Our life is full of sin (chaff and weeds), as we throw our life and dedication up to god he will remove the sin and what lands firmly on solid ground is gods finished product. We need to constantly throw OUR life before him to constantly be removed of our personal chaff, Christians should stop looking at everone elses chaff and take a look daily for our own. Unfortunatly we are taught some how that sins are numbered as to severity, Murder and homosexuality are in gods word no different than gossip or hypocracy. We have to be better stewards of our own life or we will fail to recieve the real gifts he has in store for us. The Church today is dying because of these hypocrits pointing fingers (planting weeds) at, or in others lives.

Nothing, since obviously we are all told by Christians that we are children of God, then we obviously have nothing to worry about, since the "tares" (weeds) are the children of the wicked one. However, you missed Matthew 13:31-32, which indicates that mustard seed grown is the least of all seeds but when grown becomes a tree and the birds lodge in its branches. Just for your information, mustard seed grows as a crop, just like wheat or canola. There is nothing similar between mustard seed and a tree, no branches etc. Hence since that parable is obviously false and the son of God having no idea about that important crop, then it could be implied that he knew nothing. Why would you follow someone who knew nothing, a simple crop such as mustard and he thinks it grows into a tree? He obviously was making stuff up, just like the rest of what came out of his mouth.
Jan: FYI please do not use the word Bible or Bible story and fact in the same sentence, since there is nothing factual in the Bible. There is nothing that has ever been proven factual about the Bible, nor nothing has supported the wild fantasy stories.

Ah, the parable of the tares, I think you refer to:
This is a parable that God says if you don't understand this one, you probably won't understand much of His deeper message.\
Boy, is that ever the truth. Christ explains the parable in plain language:
He who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom, BUT THE TARES ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE WICKED ONE; the enemy that sowed them WAS THE DEVIL; the harvest is the end of the world; the reapers are the Angels.
People read over this parable and do not understand a word of it. Eve's terrible sin was not eating fruit. She had sexual relations with satan himself, and God told her He would multiply her conceptions - He did, multiplied by 2; she had twins; one pregnancy of two separate fathers. Abel was Adams son, but Cain was satans son. If ya have a hard time with this, go to Genesis 5:1; this is a complete geneology of Adam - you won't find Cain listed there, because Cain simply was not Adams son.
Cain and Abel gave their offerings to God at the exact same time, because they came to the age of accountability at the exact same time - they were twins. The original manuscripts all but cement this fact, yet most Christians are unaware of it. This is why there was so much hatred going on between the brothers. When Cain was thrown out of the garden, a mark was placed on him - the mark of his father, satan.
Ever hear of the "mark of the beast"? Well, this is its beginning. Why do you think God was upset with Cains offering? I've heard people on this forum say how unfair God was. Well, the manuscripts say that what Cain put on Gods Alter as an offering was TARES - the symbol of his father, and an insult to God. Tares are actually "zewan", which grows along with wheat; it looks like good wheat the whole time growing, but when you harvest it, it is black inside, and filled with poisen. Its not edible.
Why is it important for us to know this? Because Cain had lots of decendants after he left the Garden - they are called "kenites", which translated means "sons of Cain". They even made it thru the flood of Noah, and you will find them alive and well, and doing scribe-work (go figure) for the Tribe of Judah, in
1Chronicles 2:55 - and yes, they are on the earth today. We are not all of the same "Father"; this is why Scripture tells us that in the end times the spirit of Elijah will come to turn the hearts of the children back to their fathers. That word "fathers" is plural because their are two fathers at play here.
This is why no matter what you say, some people will not hear Gods voice - those who are the children of God will know him, those who are of a different father will not hear God, nor understand His speech. The deeds of their father they will do....
I hope this is helpful.

http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Matthew%2013:24-29,%2036-43;&version=65;
Is the citation where you can look up these verses in the Message translation if you are interested.
This is a story of a farmer who planted wheat and his enemy came in and planted thistles to sabotage his crops. This is like our enemy, Satan, who takes what you learn and puts doubts in your mind or gets you swayed and sidetracked from the good things.
How I apply this to my life, I need to make sure that I'm filling my mind and strengthening it with the teachings of Christ. By continuing to pray and to read and meditate on what the Bible has to say, I can learn to weed out what is wrong.

This parable is a wonderful illustration of what is otherwise referred to as the "sheep and goat judgement." (Matthew 25:31-46) This judgement takes place after Jesus' Second Coming. (The OT parallels of this judgement are Ezekiel 34:11-31 and Joel 3.)

the wheat has to do with us who areus and the wheat is the devil.
my notes in my Bible talk about this. it says the angels will seperate the evil from the good. but we must be with the weeds for a little while. then when things grow up,God will be able to harvest the wheat(believers) from the weeds(unbelievers). when the harvest comes the weeds will be thrown away.

Whoa sister....Very good passage. There are those among those that believe that are not of God and in the final days, God will take those and separate us and throw them into the fires to burn for all eternity. I myself choose to be with the Lord Jesus and the He is my Lord and Savior. The Lord knows exactly what is happening on this earth and that evil is growng right next to us.

He was telling us what God was going to send him to do in the future. God will send Jesus to judge everyone the weeds (people who rejected Christ) and throw them into hell. He will save the already saved. He will also be with other angels. But only God knows when this day will come.
