Please just answer the question. I know it is dangerous etc. But I don’t want to hear it.
Plus, I’m going to Hawaii in April and I don’t want to fry.

Well, you don't want to hear it, but any tanning would be over-doing it...

You need to go everyday. That is how the tanning booth works. If they are 20 min. beds start out at 8 min for the 1st day. If you fo not burn, go for 10 minutes the next day, moving up 2 min each day until you are tanning for a full 20 min. If you do burn at 8 min. lessen your time and tan at that until you are no longer burning, then move up 2 minutes. ALWAYS use an indoor tanning lotion which is specially formulated to boost your tan, keep it longer, and hydrate your skin. I also suggest using a moisturizer after showering. I have tanned for many many years and this is the process that I have used each March as I begin tanning for the summer. Never had a problem.

well i go about everyday...i started going for short periods of time and working my way up to the maximum amount of time that i can go. but i do go at least 4 times a week. i know its dangerous and everything, but im like you who cares! if i want to tan its my body..lol. as far as you going to hawaii have fun! i went last july and its awesome over there! but tanning in a tanning bed wont keep you from frying. the uv rays in a tanning bed is alot different than those that you will encounter in hawaii. i found out the hard way. i had to use the sunscreen like none other over there. because you can be out in the sun for a short period of time and be able to see noticable changes in your tan because hawaii is alot closer to the equator or whatever. its weird!! just bring the sunscreen and keep that rubbed on and go ahead and tan. that way you will have a pretty tan while your over there!

Work your way up slow, maybe 2 times a week until you begin to get a base tan, then increase it by a day or two. I used to go every other day once I had a base tan

the lighter color your skin is, the less sun your skin can handle. it does not matter if you are tan already. the less ultra violet RADIATION you nuke yourself in, the better.

You can practice every day but dont go too hard on yourself...
Just take it easy... If you want, you can practice less, but a bit harder.... thats what I do.....
