Yes it does sound like depression. It is normal for teens your age to go through a multitude of changes including hormonal and other chemical changes.
If you feel like it would be easier to be 'gone' or other thoughts of suicide, you are not alone. I see many, many teens who say the same things and feel the same way.
This time in our lives is one of the hardest because of the physical changes but also the changes in expectations and roles. Are you an adult or still a child? Should you get more privileges or more responsibilities?
Don't consider yourself abnormal at all, you are one of millions on this boat; whether or not the others in the boat want to admit it to others/themselves!!
Find a health care provider you feel comfortable with and TALK. That's the best help of all, someone to talk to who will just listen.
You may need medication to assist your body through this time but talking helps most.
Remember: this is not terminal, these hard times (and fun) will move off into memories and before you know it that's all they are, distant memories. You're still young and I would advise you to take it slow with relationships because males and females are not on the same page with what they expect out of relationships at this age and stage of the game!!
Take care.

IM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR BREAKUP, BUT CHEER UP SUICIDE IS NOT THE ANSWER. YOUR STILL SO YOUNG, YOU HAVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE TO LOOK FORWARD TO. YOUR HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION, GOING OFF TO COLLEGE. WHY LET SOME LOSER THAT PROBALY WASN'T GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU ANYWAY RUIN THE REST OF WHAT WILL BE A WONDERFUL LIFE AND FUTURE.
I UNDERSTAND HOW YOU FEEL IT'S HAPPENED TO ALL OF US AND WOULD I BE RIGHT IN SAYING HE WAS YOUR FIRST LOVE. TALK TO YOUR PARENTS, MAKE SURE YOU EXPRESS TO THEM HOW SERIOUS YOU ARE ABOUT WHAT YOUR FEELING AND GET HELP BEFORE THINGS GET OUT OUT OF HAND GOODLUCK.

you should have not even had a boyfriend at your age to have to go through a break up. you're just heart broken and you're using that as an excuse. no one in this world is worth thinking about suicide over. get over this person and make room for the next one. but PLEASE wait a few years!! 14????
