I told my ex-gf(when she was still my gf) that I liked her short hairstyle and short fringe because I could see her eyes. I also told her I liked the way she wore red lipstick and lipgloss. As soon as I told her this, she grew her fringe over her eyes and stopped doing her makeup like this. When I asked her why, she told me because I told her I like it! She told me she looked pretty for other boys because they dont tell her they like her look. If I liked something she always stopped doing it, did the opposite or promised me she wojuld do it but didnt, and asked me ""Are you dissapointed"" with a smile on her face. I didnt mind if she looked pretty for other boys(she said she doesnt want to look ugly for them)or girls, but why not for me if she told me she loves me? She even said if I want her to I must force her!!!Since I went overseas she cut her hair and her fringe very short and wearing bright red lipstick and lots of lipgloss and telling me shes going out with her friends.

Sounds like she was trying to get you to break it off. Somepeople like to do things that will make you do the dirty deed and they don't have too.

Dude this girl is trouble!!!! Just stop seeing her in the end she's just gonna break your heart, find a girl who will be nice to you. One who will want to look nice for you and there are those kind of girls out there!!!!! I still want to look nice for my hubby and if he likes something then I want to do it again or wear it whatever because he has to look at me. Good Luck.

I think she did this either to get you to dump her or to get you to tell her that you like her even now with the changes. It's true that some times girls want to be 100000000000000% sure that their boyfriend REALLY, FULLY & COMPLETELY is into them...
Although it's true that her whole attitude is a bit weird. So I wouldn't be sure that she did it for so simple reasons. Maybe it's sth deeper that we can't even imagine...

Oh, honey, this girl is playing games with you. You are complimenting her look, and she's changing it to spite you? She sounds very young. Good that she's your ex-GF, let her play games with someone else.
