Have you only just recently had her spayed? if so she may just be a bit sore still and doesn't want anyone other than her family coming close, if this is a recent thing don't let it go on for too long, may be a week just to let the wound heal and soreness subside, but if the behavior continues, take her back to your vet, obviously if she shows other symptoms, ie. if she appears to be in a lot of pain, then take her back before then!

I have had the same exact problem, I have a yellow lab who is three years old. She was spaded when she was only a puppy, and she has been stuck in the "puppy stage" ever since. She still chews things up, jumps on everybody, and growls fiercely at strangers. I think that the spading of an animal can affect their hormones in a negative way, producing the side effects that are in my dog, and yours.

My chow chow humped MORE after the spading than before. She is and always has been more gentle than other dogs like her. Good luck with your rotti

I did not have a whole lot of problems with mine, but it sounds like she is protecting you. She wants you all to herself. Take her to a behavioral training class and learn how to get her to stop doing that.

I have 2 pups that were spayed last week and the only thing I have noticed is an increase in their "spiteful" peeing around the house. They now pee in the house more, not b/c they have to go to the bathroom, but to be defiant
