Why, yes. It's fine.

Just a little stubby one, though.

It's no tragedy if they don't. Teddies do, after all, differ in other significant ways from real bears.

We have over 60 bears in my house. We have over 200 in my immediate family. YES bears, including teddy bears, have a small stubby tail. It's about 2 inches long but they do have them. I can't imagine any self respecting bear without a tail. I'm mom to 3 children, aunt to 12 and have over 50 little cousins.

chillipop teddy bears DO have tails, so they should have them on the toys too.

On them? Maybe. Why?

Chilipop should have a brain too. What bear have you seen without a tail?

teddy bears should have an owner who loves them....... some have tails because if they were real they would have a tail.

I don't mind them having little tails (i.e little more than a bunny rabbits), but it'd be absurd to have any larger. What is the basis of this question anyways? Are you thinking in terms of child safety or what?
