We have over 60 bears in my house. We have over 200 in my immediate family. YES bears, including teddy bears, have a small stubby tail. It's about 2 inches long but they do have them. I can't imagine any self respecting bear without a tail. I'm mom to 3 children, aunt to 12 and have over 50 little cousins.

teddy bears should have an owner who loves them....... some have tails because if they were real they would have a tail.

I don't mind them having little tails (i.e little more than a bunny rabbits), but it'd be absurd to have any larger. What is the basis of this question anyways? Are you thinking in terms of child safety or what?
