my advice would be to start slowly and gradually build up a daily routine that you are comfertable with. It wont happen over night but if you are determined then you can get you perfect stomach. I suggest exercises like sit ups, crunches, twist sit ups (working all areas of your stomach) shuffle sit ups. there are 3 basic muscle groups you will need to work to get toned abs, uuper abs, lower abs and your obliques, work your upper abs one day your lower the next and your obliques the next, this way you will see results faster, Rotational exercises are those that include twisting-type methods. Simple crunches do not fall into the rotational category because you simply lift your body straight up and down. hope this helps. if you just want to work on your stomach then you wont have to tire yourself by running and doing aerobic exercise ! focus on your stomach first !

Everyone has a six-pack - it's a normal part of the human body. You can't see it on most people because it's covered in fat.

So...lose the fat. You can't spot reduce, so any cardio-vascular exercise will do. When you finally see your abs, you can tone them up with crunches if you want.

It doesn't matter how many sit-ups you do if you have a layer of fat over the top - you won't see the 6-pack.

The most important thing is plenty of aerobic exercise - running, cycling, playing lots of footie etc. For a 6-pack to show you need a low body-fat level in addition to all those sit-ups, which involves a healthy diet, low alcohol intake and a lot of vanity!

Good luck!

If you have a staircase, run up and down your staircase ten times during commercial breaks, start with five times an gradually increase to ten, that's some good aerobic then do crunches, and situps. If you follow this religiously you should get results in as little as four weeks, this really works.

i always heard crunches do it. and layin on ur back and doing the bicycle thing with your legs. situps dont do anything, but crunches do when you bring up ur legs as ur going up.
