i need a way to play avi and bin files on my dvd. how do i do it? do i need some special software?

This will give you the codecs needed for avi files for you to play on computer

To play on your home DVD player you need to burn them to a dvd using a program such as nero, go to download.com for free DVD burners

Burn them to a DVD. Any DVD creating software allows for .avi files

Download MagisISO and convert the Bin and extract it .
Download DivxtoDvd or ConvertXToDvd to convert avi and use CopyToDvd or Nero to burn to disc

you need to convert the files to mpeg's in order for them to play on a DVD player. go to wwwdownload.com and search for DVD converter

u need to encode the files avi2dvd try nero.com for some freeware. iuse nero7
