I've been invited to a bridal shower and I have no clue what to get for a gift. Any suggestions?

One of my favorite gifts that I received at my shower was a basket filled with all the "little stuff" you don't know you need until you can't find it. There was a corkscrew, duct tape, a small screw driver, roll of string, Chip clips, fridge magnets, a magnetic chalkboard (we have this on our fridge and use it all the time!), pot scrubbers, rubber gloves, mouse traps (we live on a farm!), just all the little stuff that was always around at Mom's, but now that I'm out on my own would never think of buying until I need it. The basket was great...everything was wrapped individually so it was great fun opening everything.

If this is however a shower where you are suppose to bring your official wedding gift I would look to see what the couple has registered for. (Personally I think the shower gift should not be expected to be a big wedding gift...traditionally it was ment to shower the bride with the little things she would need to make her home).

Another great gift that I got was a spice rack with spices...once again you don't realize that you need rosmary until you go to make something and it's not there.

Good luck

I would say a trip to the spa for either a massage, pedicure, or facial. This is one of the most stressful times for a woman and I can't think of anything more stress relieving that some pampering.

Cal one of the mothers and ask if the couple has registered for gifts anywhere.

Unless it's been otherwise specified that it's a bachelorette party, it is best to go with something on their registry. The comment about something fun is not something you want her opening infront of her family or his.

First, ask someone in her wedding (mom, sister, best friend) where she is registered. If she isn't registered anywhere, towels, linens, a nice vase will do.
