If so, why does someone deserve death for something they didn't choose of their free will.
If not, why does he allow volcanoes to kill people.

Ecclesiastics 9:11
Basically the text says that no matter how strong, fast, smart, or wise you are everyone dies from things they can't always prevent.

"If not, why does he allow volcanoes to kill people."
Currently we are under human government and have been since the rebellion of the first two people. God has allowed people to govern themselves to answer the question of whether there better off by themselves.
If he interfered with there government it would appear there doing a good job and the question would never be answered. This question arose b/c of the statements the devil made about God lying and holding back from people.

We shall be judged for our own sins and not Adam's transgressions.

We all will die because we are mortal. If you live next to a volcano, then that may be what kills you. More likely if your diet or your life style is unhealthy, you will die for another reason.
