No thank you on the praying to Odin idea. However, too many people are quick to attribute good things to God and bad things to the Devil. If one does believe in God, you should be aware that God allowed bad things to occur to Job. Therefore, he can allow the bad to occur, so isn't it a sin to automatically attribute something to Satan that could be the divine providence of God?

I'd rather pray to Odin any day over the Christian God. But...that's because I am Asatru. ;-)
Actually though, I did do this very same experiment when I was getting disillusioned with Christianity, because obviously praying to "God" wasn't doing anything. I concluded if he existed obviously he's a very negligent deity. So I proceeded to study up on and pray to a long list of different Gods and Goddesses to see if I would get any different response.

The problem is, Christians won't pray to Odin. Odin is a pagan god and it would be blasphemous. Besides... Odin doesn't exist (said in a most pretentious tone).

I wouldn't pray to Odin.
"Thou shalt have no other gods before me."
However, I do realize that there are other forces in this world besides those of God. I KNOW this, because I haven't always been a Christian. I was Wiccan at one point.
The things I did while I was Wiccan helped me to understand that there IS no such thing as coincidence when it comes to stuff like that.

LOL. Thanks for the laugh.
So, yeah, um, hat would actually mean that
let's see now
The true intention was an altruistic one (unless your mom is your slave)
and gee,
the real god heard your plea because even though you are an ignorant cad,
you had right intention and right feeling and all that
Buddhist
jazz!

That didn't make sense at all. You said "Christians:" and then said "if you prayed to Odin." Change your question.
If your right, then how come everyone agreed with me? Weird huh?
