Confusion and Delusion are two words which come to my mind. JW's have confused outward works and acts that can be judged by humans, with having a relationship with God and faith.
2 Thessalonians 2:11 - Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so they may believe what is false.
Christians should NEVER judge their obedience and faith, by the opinion of Humans. Humans judge by what they can judge with the senses. However, this perception is always flawed.

Sadness is the first thing that comes to mind...sadness because i have known some JW's and they were some of the loveliest people and i feel sad that one day an awakening takes place and they find that what they believed is not true. I know people this has happened to and they were devastated when they saw the lies. My cousin used to be married to a girl who became a JW and i really liked her but after her conversion my cousin was unable to live with such changes in her behaviour. When i see JW's knocking on doors i pray God will show them the truth, and i pray God will close the ears of the innocent people they speak to so they won't be thrown into confusion.

I know several of the Watchtower Witnesses.
They are nice people, as nice as everybody else I know.
They are however the modern day false prophets which the Bible warns us AGAINST. Their literature says that they have the true religion however the organization doesn't even tell the truth about what the Bible says so how true can their religion be? For example they say that Jesus Christ is the angel Michael and yet that is NOT what the Bible says. Not only that but the Bible does say that Jesus is God in human form yet jws deny it.
They do not teach what the Bible says but what the Watchtower says the Bible says. Based on lots of experience with jws I have realized that what they teach is no better than ABC gum.
Edit: When I reread your question I see that you were asking for the FIRST thing that comes to mind. I should have said that what I have written is only the first NANO-BIT of the first thing that comes to mind.

If one is going to witness for Jehovah as Jesus did, they have to study the bible all the time as if they were in bible school. Things inside the bible and things outside the bible that represent the Almighty God as update in time and current events would have to be known. It is a great responsibility. Jesus sent out 12 and 70 to represent his teachings and said to them."I send you forth as sheep among wolves, be ye wise as serpents and harmless as doves."
This was to be recorded in N.T. 50 to 100 years after Christ by many that would write, and published to the world in the last days on through the end times and this period will be the same as when Jesus was with the apostles, as his are to be raised up at the last day down to the last at 1Thes.4:15-17;

HONEST I'm mad right now. You can see me question on religion I posted. I feel my freedom of speech has been taken away by some Jehovah's Witnesses because I don't agree with them. i never come out and am mean about anything. So I am not sure why I am being told I'm being mean and you will report me. WOW my freedom is being taken away every day and I'M MAD. So if you want to know how I fee about any religion I'M Mad and would tell you in more detail why but I will be reported lol funny honest that we have to hide our feelings. Well I don't like religion ANY that tells me they are better then me I don't like being told I'M wrong. I don't tell you that you are wrong. i had a different answer but changed It I feel people should Know this is not OK to report People because you don't agree. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses. To correct some obvious misunderstandings:
Yes, we do not celebrate holidays, but our children do get gifts and parties. We do not celebrate holidays because of their origin. Most people Christian or not, know what the origins are or you can look it up on the Internet. The bible does not tell us when Jesus was born or tell us to celebrate his birthday. Jehovah's Witnesses children are not deprived of fun. They go to Disney world, the beach, movies, zoo, vacations etc... just like all other kids. Our lives are not based around holidays. Any day can be a day for fun, gifts for parties.
The knock, knock is a good FIRST thought, as we are the one out there going door to door sharing the Good News about God's Kingdom as Matt. 24:14 says "This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached to all the inhabited earth, and then the end will come." People know that we are the ones fulfilling this scripture. There are currently over 6.5 million witnesses worldwide in 236 lands. (Mormons are the guys on bikes in white shirt and black pants)
PBS is having a documentary on us called "Knocking". Which goes into our preaching work, our stand against Hitler, and our refusal of blood transfusions.

People who think every single Christian is wrong. Except them, of course. What makes them think they are the only ones who know the truth? It's not like they had some divine revelation like a vision or something to tell them that, (because that doesn't happen anymore, at least not by God), so how do they know? They are just going off of their human logic.

I commend you on getting information on Jehovah's witnesses. the first thing that comes to my mind is (love) we have love among ourselves and others we have good morals and we respect other peoples opinions we are a world wide organization we share in the preaching work were we preach about Jehovah god and his kingdom if one comes to your door be polite see what that have to offer you will learn first hand how we are only if you choose to then you will know we are not cruel or a cult but a loving organization (there is also a website you can go to then in the bottom right corner you can type in your question we will be delighted to answer it.)oh and the Mormons have the bikes and the short sleeve shirts not Jehovah's witnesses

"Oh no, not them again." They have a very annoying approach. It is like being backed into a corner with a gang of people throwing stones at you. The Jehovah's witnesses don't celebrate any holidays.
