Perceptions change with the wind... society is no more in moral decline than it ever was. All things change (including thoughts and concepts) and are impermanent... nothing to fear in reality.

Yes society is in a moral decline, and each generation is worse than the last. This is prophecy being fulfilled and it must take place. I'm not afraid of the changes and/or progress because my Faith in the Lord is stronger, and I know this is all temporary.
What happens will happen according to God's will!!
NOTE: Be alert, as the Bible warns an illusion of PEACE will sweep the earth as the Anti-Christ begins to reveal himself. At that time, crime will decrease, and improvements in all aspects of life will take place. Many will attribute this peace to false teachings, which is the point of it all!!
Remember, Satan can also perform miracles, heal illnesses he has caused, and appear as an angel of light who brings good news. Trust the Bible...not what you can detect with the senses.
Thus, I'm more concerned with pleasing my Heavenly Father, than with anything humans and/or society as a whole are doing. Both are misleading. God Bless, Miji

It is in moral decline but I don't believe it is terminal. There comes a time when people have to open their eyes, rid themselves of outmoded religious beliefs because religion is the root cause of the problem, and start creating a new enlightened society that is founded on the principles of reason and social responsibility. I don't think that's naive idealism I think it's inevitable at some point.

We have not declined morally. We have always been this immoral. We are just exposed to much more of it now with our media and interconnectedness. I'm afraid that seeing so many other immoral people and acts might make it more of a societal norm, though. It will start to seem normal.

In the last 100 years women have been given the right to vote in over 100 countries. Slavery has finally been outlawed in every country. For the first time, we have established a global union to promote peace.
I think things are looking up, but only if we continue to work hard.

Absolutely ! In the bible the book of Jeremiah 17:9 reads " The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:who can know it? Satan comes as a roaring lion walking about seeking whom who he may devour 1 peter 5:8. If you don't choose God , Satan will choose you and you both will be sent to hell forever.

Society has been in a decline since the Bible was taken out of public schools and it has created the overly inflated egos of today's youth and adults who worship money and themselves instead.

I believe that humanity has always been in a moral wilderness, but we are capable of a Spiritual awakening if we actually follow the Son.

Things often must get worse before they get better.
Cheese. Cheese is nothing but spoiled milk. At one point, it is perfectly good milk to drink. Then you introduce a culture to it, either a bacteria or a mold. Some cheeses actually pass through a liquid phase where they'd be toxic if you consumed the mix. But when they finish 'spoiling'... yummy.

Yes, things are getting worse.
Soon supernatural occurrances will be commonplace. Watch! You'll notice more & more supernatural tv shows. Darkness will increase, while love decreases. Love will be replaced by sex, & people will think it's all the same thing.
Am I scared; no. I read the end of the Book. We win!
