"Please return this application form until the 1st of March 2007" so... if I send it tomorrow, the 1st of March, I respect the deadline or not?

if you are mailing it then it probabally should be postmarked by today 28th of February
if hand delivering then today if possible it depends on where the application is going and what it is for.( i would call and ask if there is an information number available)
I am not sure why they chose to use the word until instead of using before or by it makes it kind of unclear even if english is your first language

It does not say about when you have to send it....but it plainly says that it has to reach them on march 1 st 2007. If the form is returned on march 1st you are respecting the deadline. You have to consider the postal time......or you have to hand deliver it.

Please return the application form by March 1st means they want to receive it in the office no later than March 1st.

only the stamp of the post office will certify that you sent it no later than the 1st of March

it has to be in on the first of march. not send it in on the first of march
