if you use more insulation than is recommended you will save on both heating and cooling costs, use higher gage wires and you will use less electricity, get a solar water heater and or panels, buy green energy, get energy efficient lights and appliances, unplug appliances you arent using, there are so many little ways that add up big.

don know
there are companies out there that will install these for u or u can go buy books n do it yourself

geo thermal homes is excellent providing u have a backyard big enough
solar panels on roofing or erected on poles is another great answer but requires lots of batteries...also u can reverse output n sell it back to the electric company

there's also solar heating for water heaters but u will still need a supplament like a real water heater or an instant water heater.

best of luck and save the planet!
