fisrt of all you have to have good trust in each other.. becasue ofcourse you'll both be going out with friends and people when the other is not around so you need to be able to trust each other
Communication.. thats the key i think.. i talk to my bf (we are in a long-distance realtionship of 2 yrs) every night .. it means that we keep in touch with each other and dont loose any communication because once youve lost that things can get very hard.
Effort.. to organise and arrange meeting with each other..
and the last thing i'll say is remeber to remind her that you love her and keep your feelings strong..dont be negative too much .. its hard but satying positive and looking forward to when you next see her will keep it going stong :)

I have been dating a guy for 10 years who stays 13 hours away from me. He is great and we love each other. I think its all love and being faithful. Have a great time too. I think its also about spending time once in a while with each other. I am Indian and here we are faithful no matter what. It would make me to die than not to be with this one man of my life. i thought i had it bad, my fiance and i live 1 and a half hours away from each other. we speak to each other every day on the phone and text often. we try and see each other as often as possible and when we are together we concentrate on just us and making each other happy. its worked for us for the past 12 months and we're planning to marry in june this year
