When are liberals going to give up on this hair brained notion that humans evolved from monkies? The bible clearly states that we was CREATED by God.

I don't care if your holy book says that God accidentally created humanity with a burp.

What does the physical evidence say? Physical evidence, unlike religious fairy tales, is real, testable, and verifiable.

Please go exctinct.

When are you going to get over this absurd hogwash notion that God exists? Oh, and by the way, they didn't say we evolved from "monkies" [sic], but that we evolved from a similar ancestor as monkEYS. Next time, perhaps you could make a true statement, with proper spelling.

BTW, the Bible is a BOOK. The Quran clearly states that we were created by Allah. So what? A book excerpt doesn't create a fact.

Wow. Did you actually graduate from high school?
OK, I'll refrain from correcting your grammar and spelling, and point out we didn't evolve from monkeys, but rather apes and humans evolved from a common primate ancestor. Monkeys are an entirely different order of primate.
More and more evidence surfaces every day to support evolution, while the bible loses ground at the same rate. Face it, dude: Science will win. You can ignore it all you like, but the USA is the only country on the PLANET where this debate is even taking place. And you conservatives wonder why the rest of the world shows us such contempt? We look like a bunch of uneducated knuckleheads.
The only proof you guys offer for the bible is the bible itself, which is no proof at all. At least science keeps looking for the answers, then looks for more answers to support the first answers. The bible and religion stops at "God did it. End of story." That's the short road to profound ignorance. No, thanks.
And the term is "hare-brained."

well lemme say this, we didnt evolve from monkies and monkies were not created by god (infact monkies are not even real) so i guess the answer to your question is liberals never said we were evolutions of the monkies so they cant give up something they dont say/do.

now if u asked about mokeys, well thats a different story. so maybe ask that, and ill answer

But only a moron would believe that the Bible is a science book. It isn't.

Besides, we didn't evolve from "monkies," as you incorrectly spell it. Religionists always get that one wrong. The fact is, apes and humans are descended from common ancestors. That's a little bit different.

The Bible "clearly states" a lot of things that I bet you don't practice or believe. Have you read Leviticus lately?

Yes this is obviously a valid argument as every single thing in the Bible has been proven to be absolute fact. How exactly to you manage to ignore all the evidence supporting evolution? Do you truly believe at the Bible was handwritten by God? Did he also translate it for you? Could it be possible that maybe some interpretation is required when reading the Bible and that it is not absolute fact?

One of the things we Christians are going to need to do is change the language we use in this discussion. Evolution does not say we evolved from Monkeys, it says we have a common ancestor. Changing that thought alone allows in many ways for both the Bible and Evolution to be correct, and if one studies hard enough they may both just be correct. The main point however is that if we are going to argue Biblical accuracy then we need to stop sounding stupid. The best way to defeat any enemy (and as I said I am not sure we need to be enemies) is to know them. Saying we evolved from Monkeys would mean that Monkeys no longer exist. Clearly they do, I have seen many baboons answer questions here at YA.

Clearly this is false. The Monkies have only been around since the 1970's, so we cannot have originated from them. (Although they may have led to some people being born, I digress.) And they must have come from somewhere, since the 1970s were really not inspiring enough to create humanity.

If you would read another book you would know that no one claims we evolved from monkies. The theory is we have a common ancestor and our our genetic material is 98% identical to prove it.

What I want to know is how people who have never passed third grade science class get access to personal computers and the internet? I would think people who are so fearful of science would also fear its products.

You, personally, obviously didn't evolve from monkeys, because monkeys can spell better than you.

If you read the Bible (instead of taking someone else's word for it), you'll find that God used evolution as part of the creation process. Genesis 1.20: "and God said, 'LET THE WATERS BRING FORTH swarms of living creatures." Genesis 1.24: "and LET THE EARTH BRING FORTH living creatures of every kind."

How did we evolve from monkeys? Don't you think, if evolution is correct, that monkeys would have evolved over the millions of years as well? That's a dumb assertion.

The bible also says it is true, and is a liar naming himself a liar telling a lie or the truth?
