If the question had been answerable then the answerers would have to be careful that they got it right ("what year was the battle of Bull Run"). If instead it is unanswerable ("Is this religion better than that one") then there is room for a lot of thoughts that can not be resolved.
btw "the computer system comes along and generates best answer if none has been chosen" is NOT true. If no one has made a choice at all the question will sit open until it dies of old age. If you have strong views on which answer is best then go vote for it - don't expect the computer to make a choice for you.

I'm confident because I do not speak unless I have logical reason to back up my statements.
Could I be wrong? Sure! I assume (but do not beleive) that my car is where I parked it. This is not a belief because it's based on over a year of experience -- my car's always been where I left it while I've been at this job. I could be wrong, my car might have been stolen 10 minutes ago.
When I go out to my car, I'll receive new information. I'll observe my car isn't there. I'll know then that my assumption was wrong and I'll act accordingly.
I do the same with the 'supposedly' unanswerable questions. Either I have a logical reason for my stance or I hold no belief at all.

People argue most strongly the things they are least sure of. They have no need to argue what they consider to be true..
'Best answer' is a terrible misnomer. There is absolutely no guarantee that the best answer has been chosen, and it is frequently not. And as far as voting goes, it only shows the most voted for answer - very often the first answer. The best answer system is meaningless.

I always answer with best available evidence and that means that it could change.
The answer I would give to the "unanswerable" question that you posted is that there is no evidence there is a god, so it is only reasonable to conclude that there isn't one. If you have any evidence that there is, I would be happy to comment on it. Until then I stick with that answer with a pretty high degree of confidence.

You are wrong...'is there a god' has an answer - YES.
How can someone be so confident...well I know God exists from my own experience. If you saw a rainbow and someone doubted you saw or rainbow (or if they really existed) - they would not be able to shake your confidence. You know you saw a rainbow.
I must admit however, some don't really know and are so full of blind belief that they are confident through sheer ignorance and belief.

When you state a question like " is their a god?"
as if there is no answer, that is -your- opinion. All though I do agree. If I were to ask " is there such thing as a flying Zebracornowl ? ". You would say no ...right? Well, I believe that their is, even though all common sense and logic would tell me otherwise. So for me/ i.e."you" their is an answer. Even if one or both are wrong.

Why not? Does someone elses' confidence bother you somehow? I haven't read any of your other questions. That said, you can never say with 100% wether a question has an answer or not. Furthermore, why ask a question if you believe it to have no answer?

Look into Buddhist philosophy if you're interested. Much has already been said about the illogical nature of an omnipotent creator being, too much to put in here for you. It's a good thing it's too much too because then you can discover and analyze for yourself and not take my word for it.

You can vote on opinions, too, it's the nature of the format here.. if you look at resolved questions, there are several wrong answers, as well as a LOT of opinion only answers..
