Well as my two teenage boys tell me that I know nothing about most things-and I've survived into my mid fifties-obviously I don't need to know it all.
Anyway don't we have enough of those who THINK they know it all already.Imagine a world full of those who did and then those (Like me) that would never learn it all no matter what it took.
We'd be all the more ignorant than we seemingly are already and be surrounded by even more patronizing gobshites.

yes, making sense of the world around us is one of man's greatest gifts. It keeps us inventing and discovering and curing and helping. Without the need or want to know anything, the world might as well be a shade of grey and every job something like out of the first half hour of Joe vs. The Volcano.

Yes and no, We simply need to prove our love for the Supreme God. However, one way of proving our love is to learn more about that person we love. Therefore, it helps to learn more about God. It helps to understand how this material energy works in relation to the eternal existence where God resides.

We need to know enough to take us through our lives and be able to visualize which information to absorb and which to ignore... then make rational and sound choices based upon our experiences and the information we have absorbed. Anything extra absorbed becomes trivia...

I'm not going to actively interfere with people trying to figure things out. As opposed, to say, the previous Pope.

Nah. We just need to be able to survive long enough to raise our children.

It isn't possible, and we've been living for millenia without it. So I guess we don't NEED it.
