So, what your saying is that scholars now are smarter than back then. That this "Crossing of the Red Sea" is a "Mistranslation?" You watch too much History Channel and not enough research yourself. If that is true, how where the Egyptians drowned in a sea of reeds? Regardless of how it was parted, the Israelites did indeed go through the Red Sea.

Then how would you explain that THE WATERS OPENED, and that after he crossed THROUGH it, the waters closed on his enemies?
It doesnt just say he crossed the sea. It gives other details that let you know that the waters opened and made way for him and the people.

Uh, Moses was made up. The Hebrews were never enslaved in Egypt. It was a story made up during the Jewish exile in Babylon when they wrote most of the Old Testament, including the Books of Moses.

could be.. but it could also be that he and his band of marry walkers all on foot didnt have any other way to cross.. with an army almost on top of them..if i remember right.. as soon as they crossed the egypt army was crossing as well.. so it was a close call....

but, you have to read and make up your own mind..

thats what faith is all about... trusting what you cant see...

the red sea exists in egypt, saying it was the reed sea discredits an already shady book.
