Okay for the last 4 weeks ive been really really down in the pits, really emotional, and frustrated on my life. Putting my self down making unnessacary suicide comments becuase of listening to my mom, make assumptions on why i've been so down. I've been really anxious latley *more then usually*. But this week for some reason ive just been anxious! and my doctor reffered me to go talk to somebody at the mental health clinc and dont know if i should becuase i feel better. Whats your say?

There are reasons a person feels down in the pits and anxious. Some of these feelings are normal and you can tell. However, you said you felt down below the point of self confidence for an unknown amount of time, then suddenly feel anxious. But has this new feeling actually made you feel better? Go have a chat with someone at the clinic and be sure. It'll make you feel more confident.

Follow your doctor's orders. I've been there. Talking to someone can do a world of good. Sometimes just getting it out and talking to someone who is outside the situation (i.e. not a family member or friend) can really help. The thing about depression and/or anxiety is that there are ups and downs. Many people who suffer are put on medication, and then once they are feeling so much better they stop their medication and they end up down in the dumps again. And the ups and downs themselves are unhealthy. Everybody has good days and not-so-good days, but when they're affecting your life so much you're asking for help than you need help. Again, you've got nothing to lose in following your doctor's orders. Good luck.

It never hurts to talk to someone at the mental health clinic. It does not mean you are ill or anything. It is a normal thing to at times have difficult times to deal with things. Now days there is a lot of stress on everyone and can cause people to feel depressed. I think you talking to someone will really benefit you, and you will feel like a load has been lifted off your shoulders. Good luck to you.. I hope you find some happiness in your life.

I Think you should go see someone the best time to see someone is when you are feeling better that way you can explain how you felt oppose to how you feel now and just because you feel better now does not mean that the problem want come back you might as well get it off your chest now. Plus it's doctors orders that is why he has the degree and we pay him alot of money so that he can give us good advise.

Just go ahead and kill yourself, life only gets worse. You might as well just end it before its too late. Plus I hear they are having a sale on waterbeds in hell ; )

Go... maybe they can help. A whole month of being 'down' requires some professional help.
