I just read an article about some people being exposed to it, what is it and how do people get it?

hepatitis is transmitted by d hepatitis virus whc affects d liver.there r many type of hep infections but most common r A n B.hep A is contracted from seafood (mussels,snails,etc) or from contaminated water n food stuff.it is not lethal.it's prognosis is gd.hep B on the other hand is transmitted thru sex,injections and contaminated appliances especially in d hospital.it is has more severe outcome.in chronic cases it will develop into hepatocellular cancer (cancer of liver). the symptoms are usually fever,pain on the right side,enlarged liver, nausea,vomiting,headache,dark color of stool n urine,etc.
it can b treated and thr are also vaccines against this viruses
