Incredibly interesting, and you must take the open top bus tour around the city and then stroll along the riverside to the pub and partake of a glass or two of the local brew.

Oxford is very beautiful indeed. It lives up to its name as a University city; the biggest attractions are the colleges themselves. (There is no Oxford University per se, it comprises a number of colleges.) The colleges make up the majority of the town centre, with its alleyways, hidden pubs and shops and so on, and there's a covered market that is almost worth visiting. You'll get the most out of it just by wandering about the place and admiring the architecture and antiquity of the place. The worst thing about it is that it is constantly swarming with tourists, but if you can overlook this I'd go.
If you look up the colleges you'll find things like the Bridge of Sighs and various observatories and other architectural eccentricities to go and see. You could also go punting on the Thames. The best meal you'll get is at Jee's - you'll have to look it up but I promise you won't regret it.

Oxford has quite a few attractions for tourists. The main one being of course the University itself which is a beautiful building. There are museums; loads of restaurants; theatres and lots of lovely shops. The town itself is interesting just to wandering around the little back streets.
