Ok. The reason I have missed my period for 2 years is because I got pregnant and then after I had my baby I breastfed him. He is now over a year and I stopped breastfeeding 3 weeks ago. I have not gotten my period still. Will it take time until I get it? I thought once you stoped breastfeeding I would get it. Need Info on that, THanK YOu ALL!!!!!

I'm surprised you didn't get your period back while you was breast feeding. I breastfeed four children.I always got my period when they were around four months. Might want to see a doctor.

Everybody is differnt, it may take you a few months to get back on a regular cycle. I started my period like clockwork after I got home from the hospital and I breastfed..my friend didn't have one until 6 months after she stopped breastfeeding....if you are really concerned you could call your dr. or just wait it out...
