I have just brought a laptop with Vista and love editing and create great effects with my photos and videos. Does anyone know any good software that i can buy that will work with Vista but will not cost to much.

Picasa instantly locates and organises all the pictures on your computer; and can be considered a photo suite - but is more for management purposes.
However, you can use it to do basic editing such as cropping photos, remove red eye, fix the contrast and colour, and enhance your digital pictures.

If you're looking for something that's more advanced in terms of editing photos; try Paint.NET or GIMP. Both are free and available at the following links:

I'm not 100% sure what works well with Vista at the minute, but it won't harm your computer to give either a go.

PowerPoint ( Brilliant)comes with Vista but is expensive to buy I think. They give you 25-30 uses and then you have to upgrade but if you go to one of the AUTO sites they use it for their displays and you can down load it free, I got it from Peugeot and it cost nothing and it's legal. best of luck
