on u torrent my download speed is allways so low it has peaked upto 700kbs but seems to hang around 50kbs-80kbs any idea how to keep it high???
allso i play battlefield 2 online and somtimes the ping is as high as 2000 and i constantly get kicked is their anything i can do to fix this?? many thanks james

Q1. It depends on how many seeders there are for your download. The more seeders the better.
Q2. Do you have anything else using internet in the background while playing i.e utorrent. When playing games online always make sure its just the game thats using the net at that time other wise the ping is gonna be through the roof.

For Q1... you are bound by how fast your peers can send you information so sometimes there is nothing you can do.
Try seeding more so that your ratio is always above 1.0 before deleting the torrent. Some people swear this helps

check for spyware and trojans you may have somethin else secretly using bandwidth.
