The theory of evolution does not contend that man uses shampoo or predict that animals would. Where are you getting the underlying assumption for this question?

Just recently scientists have spotted Chimpanzees sharpenng sticks with their teeth and using them like spears to stab sugar gliders in trees to eat. This is the first time this behaviour of tool making for hunting has ever been observed in the species. It is possible that if left to evolve they may be adapting some of the same intelligent behaviors that our early ancestors did. Shampoo is probably still thousands of years down the road for them yet though.

I think that's reverse Evolution (De-evolution?). So in theory, monkeys had been using shampoo for years before humans.

This might not count, but I've seen footage of a monkey washing a cat with shampoo. Just trying to help.

Monkeys don't have the oppurtunistic, open ecological niche to evolve much beyond where they are....I mean, the next step is humanity and humans already own the top spot....so if we all die out, then yes, monkeys WILL evolve and use shampoo, eventually.

Pangel...wow, just...wow.
If monkeys will soon be using shampoo, should we start marketing Holy Trinity to them? Ads at zoos. ChimpTV ads.
Hmmmm...
