Buy Jam instead of Jelly it spreads much better.
Welch's grape jam is good; no seeds & seems to have the same ingredients.
Also use a spoon not a knife; just scoop some jam onto the bread & then spread with the back side of the spoon.

You dip it out with a spoon and smash it on the back of the spoon, about a teaspoon of jelly will cover about a quarter of the bread slice this way. So put four blobs on your bread and squish them together.

You can also buy jelly in a squirt bottle.

Jams, preserves, and all-fruit spreads are easier to move around.

Put your jelly/jam in microwave for 5 to 10 secs, you have to watch it so it doesnt get liquid. Then spread on your bread. Yum.

Smuckers makes a peanut butter/jelly combination that's already together in a jar. Strawberry jam or grape jelly. It is actually quite decent!

I find that buying JAM instead of jelly is sooooooooooooo much easier to spread and it has a lot better flavor then jelly.

first of all - for easy spreading, choose the creamy peanut butter rather than chunky. secondly - PB does not need to be refrigerated so leave it out and it will not be as stiff and will be more spreadable. thirdly - make sure u have bread that is a day old or more. bread that is too soft is too hard to work with.....

Its because you are using "jelly" and not "jam", there is a huge difference and jam actually spreads nicely and tastes much better. Good Luck =)

use a butter knife for peanut butter and for jelly a spoon one on each side and use alittle butter on the slices of bread so the jelly doesn't bleed through and its eassier to work with only alittle tho
