The Brits (to the best of my knowledge) are using two specific types of "in vehicle" radar devices.

The first is the "conventional" radar unit which has a broader beam that does not include a camera.

The second is the Auto-Patrol PR100 which has a less broader and more "target specific" beam that includes a 35mm camera.

Because the Auto-Patrol is showing a very specific increase in the reduction of accidents and decrease in "social costs" it has become more popular in use!

To determine the various types of equipment used by your local authorities...visit them and show an interest. I'm sure they'll enjoy "showing off" their tools of the trade.

Best wishes!
