I am a female very serious about weight training and building muscle. I lift weights, do much cardio, and have a smart eating plan. I also incorporate whey proteins into my diet. I am currently 120 pounds and although my goal is to gain muscle, I also want to keep the fat and water weight off. I recently heard that creatine can cause excessive weight gain in a matter of weeks. Åny advice?

Creatine holds water in the muscles, your heart is a muscle, if your heart is surrounded by water, failure occurs, it is called congestive heart failure. You choose a heart attack-or body building. It is a chemical!

I'm into weight lifting but I lost alot of weight because I was really sick for a long time. I wanted my strength back so I decide to try creatine and man the next day all i did was run to the washroom. I do moving and needed my strength back I'm just glad I didn't take while working because I had the runs all day. That would have been real cute at a customers house or being on the road.I don't think I'll touch that stuff again.

Can be but keep in mind most of the weight you can initially from creatine is water weight. Best advice would be to increase your protein intake and take an amino acids supplement and keep lifting!!!

I have a few weight-lifter friends and some in the medical profession. Creatine will make you retain water and "puff-up" your muscles. Steroids and HGH are the only supplements that work and I believe they are both illegal
