It's in many places, I could even say everywhere, the problem is that we focus more on the bad things that are happening, rather than the good ones, you will see goodness in children when they help each other with homework, to climb a monkey bar....in adults when giving each other a hand when the other individual has a proble...... in animals when help people rescue when they get trap(remember, they do not have to do it if they dont want to, they just do it because of the goodness within them). I know we see a lot of violence, but you can also show some goodness by volunteering to help homeless, abused children and women, violent teens that some time all what they need is just a little of attention and understanding, and most of all love!, when you start volunteering to help any of this needs, you will see that there are many people doing it too, then you will see that there is still a lot of goodness in this world.

Anywhere that God is. God is the only thing good in this world, and all good things come from him. I hope you find what you're looking for, don't give up on looking for goodness. Love God and do what He asks of you, and you will be able to show goodness to others. Just take a peek in the Bible and you will find goodness. There is always going to be good and evil, but good wins in the end. God bless.

It's everywhere. We may not hear it on the news, because goodness is not very exciting or dramatic in most cases.
What we hear on the news is the uncommon, the unusual. If it happened all the time, it would no longer be news.
So, we don't hear about the millions upon millions of acts of kindness and love that happen all the time.
Bear in mind that we tend ot find what we're looking for, so if you look for the good, it will become obvious.

In the love of a mother for her child
the smile of a stranger
the tear of one who sees another's sorrow
the work of those who risk their lives to make a difference in the world
the laws that have been made against child abuse, wife battering, discrimination...
With every storm there comes the time when the sun shines through the dark clouds and lights up everything so beautifully that you know that life is good.

The goodness is inside of "us" and it's inside of all the other "good" people in the world. We manifest this in time of crises as well as our everyday courteous dispositions. There is a lot of love/faith/compassion it is simply the bad that seems to overshadow the Good.

All around us, you need not let the bad overwelm your sense of the good. Try going to a park and watching children play or to a soup kitchen and watch the volunteers help those in need.

It is within the self, and people are hoarding it, thinking that to give it away depletes the supply. They have backward thinking. The more good one gives, the more it multiplies.

I've been told that it's within the people around us. But no one I've dissected seems to have any in them, it's all guts and mushy stuff. So I guess it's somewhere else.
