The Arabic, Persian and Sindhi alphabets are all related and are written right to left. I have found font's for all three on the Internet but how do you get it to type right to left? I have a standard USA HP computer. Is there some kind of software that can be added?

Use Windows CD to install right-to-left writing support at Languages at Regional Settings on your Control Palnel. Then you enable Language bar and add Arabic and Persian and select the desired language. When chosen, it'll automatically write from rtight to left.

Arabic and Persian will work, Sindhi won't, because it's not available with Windows. You won't have problems with Persian and Arabic, bur Sindhi will be more tough. I don't think even Sindhi keyboard exists. There are Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Jawi Malay keyboards, but I'm not so sure for Sindhi. My Balochi friends say it doesn't exist. Windows is also not available in Sindhi. Microsoft Word does offer complete set of Sindhi characters and Sindhi language support.

Depends on you Operating System. I assume your OS is WinXP so you should do as following:

First, Put you windows XP CD in CD drive.

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Regional and Language options > Select "Languages" tab which is above the window > In "Supplemental language support" tick first option "Install files for complex script and right to left languages (including Thai)" > Hit "Apply" button.

In the same window, select "Regional options" tab which is above the window. Then you should "select an item to mach its preferences". In drop-down menu select "Farsi". Hit "OK" button.

After these a language bar will add beside task-bar and you can select you favorite language which you added to your computer.

Also, you can find some useful Persian fonts (TTF) for your Windows here:
