if a baby was aborted would it still be in spirit world?

my sister is guilt ridden by a pregnancy termination she had 18 years ago. and was at a spiritulist church and the medium told her a baby was in spirit world, is this true that aborted babies are with our loved ones on the other side?

why answer a question if you are are sarcastic, i only wanted a straight answer.

The real issue is the guilt your sister has had for nearly 20 years. This is not set aside by knowing what happened to the baby but is rather an issue between God and your sister.

The baby was aborted and that is done. Your sister's soul was ruptured by this event and that has not been repaired. This is not completely a family issue and it is not a social issue. It is true that the spirit of that baby is in the spiritual world. It may not be true that it is with your loved ones on the other side.

God owns every soul and has paid a special price for every soul that exists in this veil of flesh. Males and females are "bought with a price" whether they accept it or not.

She needs to take this issue and her life before the Lord Jesus Christ and give up her issues and her life to Him. There is nothing she has done, to this point in her life, that can totally separate her from the love of God in Christ Jesus.

Giving up your life and experiencing His love and peace is the only thing I know that will heal any breach and remove any pain.

There is no choice for her, or anyone, but to live in the immediate presence of His love. The only other places to live are in the future, which no man is sure of, or in the past which no man can change.

She needs grace to realize that Jesus paid for her sins and mistakes long ago. And I pray that she comes to understand God's amazing grace.

Those without this understanding and acceptance are already under condemnation as your sisters life shows. Don't put off accepting what God has provided. She needs to have a new life, His life, inside her now, as she did in part 18 years ago. She must see that the issue is God's life that rested in the baby. If she can really see this it should be hope to her for forgiveness.

I hope you, and your sister, can see that it is about life which only comes from God. Every life is a portion of His life. To reject a part, however small, can be fatal. Her only answer is not in understanding the past but in contact with the Lord Jesus Christ who is the source of life and light itself.

Anyone who walks in that light for any time will come to terms with both the past and the future.

Well if you assume that a soul enters the "body" after conception, then of course this soul or spirit, goes to the other side. Maybe the soul wasn't ready for the world and you sister did exactly the right thing. I don't think anything bad happens to the soul or spirit when the living tissue dies. Please tell your sister she doesn't have to be guilt ridden, she did was what, for whatever reason, necessary at that moment in time.

I think its true and that your sister and her baby will be reunited when your sister goes there. She needs to stop feeling guilty she obviously knew at the time she could not have had the baby and had valid reasons. She is not a bad person and most people in her situation would have probably chosen the same choice.

And to all the sarcastic people lets hope you are never faced with this situation because you wouldnt be able to cope as you do not have a shred of the maturity it takes to make a desision like this and go through the guilt afterwards.

depends how developed the unborn baby was. i believe that there is a point when a foetus gains it's spirit. i do not study biology so am unsure really. but i am inclinded to believe that it would not enter a spirit world unless it was after the 24week period, where the baby is meant to be more developed and classed lawfully as a child.

since the termination must have been before this legal marker, then i do not believe that the baby is in a spirit world.

your sister should realise that it is not murder before this 24week period. it is not wrong. hope she feels better soon

On the Other Side we are all 30 years old, so no it isn't true that babies are there with our loved ones. A soul would not enter a foetus that was going to be aborted they are not that stupid, so your sister should not feel guilty about the termination as she did not terminate a life in the first place. She should read some books by Sylvia Browne so that she can be at peace with herself. There is nothing worse than being ridden with guilt for something that was destined anyway.

Please tell and comfort your sister with the sure and certain knowledge that the baby is in heaven with God.

When a child is born they are not accountable for their actions until they reach an age where they understand the difference between right and wrong, this age is only truly known by God as all people mature physically and intellectually at different rates.

After reaching this age of understanding the child is then responsible for his/her actions and will answer for them before God, before that age if a child dies or is aborted then he/she will go straight to heaven and into the presence of God.

i peronaly belie that heven and the life after death are the same thing yes her child when to heven and yes it is waiting her her but the child is not in pain it dose not hate her it love the woman you gave it lie no matter how long that life was

what ever she thinks of as a place of rest that is where her child is both of them are love and forgiven (i personaly dont think there is anything to forgive )

I do n't think so...it is more practical for a soul to enter a body during the time of a baby's birth, than during a pregnassy..and when a soul enters and ocupies the baby's body completly during the birth, ...then you can say that the baby oficially is alive...and when a soul departures a body during a death then becomes a spirit...waiting it's turn when the scheduled time comes...to re-enter to another baby's body- human or animal as getting born, in this planet or other planets...that possible some kind of life exist. and please tell your sister.... to do not feel guilty about the abortion...she thought and done the best she could acording the circumstances....18 years passed I bet you if any spirit planed to occupie her baby's body then during the birth ...and could not do it due to the abortion....I bet you this spirit is living happilly here and 18 years in somebody's else body that was born after her baby's abortion. nature accepts abortion: is part of life- it is an option that humans and animals do...when another solution is not available.

yes her baby will be in the spirit world, your loved ones will have taken her under there wing she is safe, i know how she feels i had to get an ex-girl friend to have an abortion, sometimes the decision can be quite hard but well........ i mean she obviously would not have been able to cope then there is no shame in that or guilt to be felt. Her baby dosent hate her so she should not hate herself, the way the world is these days she probably did the baby a favour.

Well first of all your sister shouldnt be involved in that stuff. Churches that practice spiritualism arent churches at all.

Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD -Deuteronomy 18:10

With that being said, I believe that babies that die are judged on what they WOULD have done if they had been allowed to live their life and I think God perfectly knows us before we are born. (Jeremiah 1:5)
