You get a self sickness certificate from your local Social Security Office. You can either phone them and have them post one out or collect one from the office. You have to be off a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 7 days. After that you need a sick note from your Doctor.

You pick them up from your doctors surgery, or a good chemist - when you have been sick for more than 3 days, and upto 7 days. After that, you will need a doctors note.

It looks as if it has affected you ability to write the question properly. Self Certificating is needed for the firrst 7 days and this can be obtained from your Doctor's surgery.

You will get them from the doctors surgery - you don't need an appointment or anything - just ask the receptionist, then you just fill it out yourself.
