I am going on vacation and would love to take some homemade dry dip mixes with me.. Does anyone have a good one they could share?

just take a few packs of knorr vegetable soup mix. when you want dip, add 1 carton drained thawed spinach, 1 sm. can chopped water chestnuts, and large tub of sour cream. mix it up and chill for 30 minutes or so. i make this for any get together and it is always gone sooo quickly!

Vegetable Dip Mix

1/4 cup dried chopped chives
2 tsp. dried dill weed
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 tsp. onion salt
2 tsp. smoked paprika
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl: blend well. Spoon mixture into a small glass container and store in a cool, dry place. Label as "Vegetable Dip Mix". Use within 6 months.
Vegetable Dip: Combine 1 Tbsp.
lemon juice, 1 cup mayonnaise, 1 cup sour cream, and 2 Tbsp. Vegetable Dip Mix. Chill at least 1 hour before serving. Makes about 2 cups of dip.

Onion Cheese Dip Mix

1/4 cup instant minced onion
2 tsp. instant beef bouillon powder
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. garlic salt
PREPARATION:
Combine all ingredients in a small bowl and blend well. Spoon mixture into a small glass jar with screw-top lid. Label as "Onion Cheese Dip Mix" and attach instructions for use. Store in a cool dry place and use within 3-4 months.
Makes 4 batches of mix. Each batch, equaling 3 tablespoons, can be substituted for 1 package of purchased onion-cheese soup mix.
ONION CHEESE DIP Combine 1 cup sour cream or 1 8-oz. pkg. softened cream cheese with 3 tablespoons of Onion Cheese Dip Mix. Chill at least 1 hour before serving. Makes about 1 cup of dip.



Dill dip mix recipe
Combine & Mix in a plastic bag or air-tight container. Makes about 6-10 preparations of dip.

6 Tbs. Dill
2 1/2 Tbs. Parsley
3 Tbs. Chopped Onion
3 1/2 tsp. Celery Salt
1/4 tsp. Salt

Preparation:

For a Great Tasting dip mix for chips and vegetables, combine one to two tablespoons of mix with 1/2 cup mayonnaise and 1/2 cup sour cream. Cover and refrigerate 1-2 hours before serving.

Keep Refrigerated.

DO NOT USE MIRACLE WHIP IN PLACE OF MAYONNAISE



Bacon-Flavored Dip Mix

2 tablespoons instant bacon bits
1 tablespoon instant minced onion
1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
1/8 teaspoon minced garlic


Combine all ingredients in a small bowl; blend well.
Spoon mixture onto a 6-inch square of aluminum foil and fold to make airtight.
Lable as Bacon-Flavored Dip Mix.
Store in a cool, dry place and use within 6 months.
Bacon Flavored Dip:.
Combine 1 cup of sour cream and 1 package of mix.
Chill at least 1 hour before serving.
Makes about 1 cup of dip.
VARIATIONS:.
Substitute 1 cup yogurt, 1 cup cottage cheese or 1 (8 oz) package of softened cream cheese for sour cream.
