I hope you won't take the advice of some of those above me. Jesus isn't dead, He's VERY much alive. And wants to help you.
First of all, Jesus only answers and helps those that are called God's children. I pray you can say that you have been saved.
If you are a child of God, He can help you out. Surrender to Him and ask for His help. That's all there is to it. Don't expect immediate results. It could take much longer than you expect. He doesn't want to get you out of it...He wants to get you through it. So allow Him to test you, if that's what He might be doing. Lean on Him and let Him guide you every step of the way. Get in His word, and spend time with Him just talking. It will make your life so much more abundant and He will fill you with overflowing joy. He wants to help you, you just gotta be willing.
You're in my prayers! my email address is kamh5891@yahoo.com if you ever need anybody to talk to! =]

Depression and alcoholism are better dealt with using "real world" solutions. Depression is often a result of an imbalance in brain chemistry and can be treated.
I would recommend that you look into stopping drinking before beginning the treatment for depression, however. Alcohol is a depressant, and should be out of the system before treating depression with medication.
There are numerous ways to deal with alcoholism. One of the most effective is Alcoholics Anonymous. Find a "beginners meeting" near you and attend. You may be a bit uncomfortable at first, but stick around. There is a lot of valuable information to be had there. The people there have been down the road, and can help you as you recover.
I say these things about depression and alcoholism out of experience. Been there, done that.

First, depression is almost always a result of alcoholism. Alcohol is a depressant, and those who drink excessively become depressed. (This isn't to mean that all people with depression are drinkers, but that those who drink become depressed.)
I've known many alcoholic Christians, and I've not met one yet, who was a true alcoholic, who was able to stop with church alone. It may be possible, but I've not met such a person.
The best cure I've found for alcoholism is Alcoholics Anonymous. It is a program of spirituality which encourages communion with your God (Your definition of God, as the program teaches no specific doctrine).
Millions of people have been able to put down alcohol for 24 hours a day. I've met people sober for more than 50 years.
It's simple, but not easy. Alcoholism is a chronic disease, won't go away, but you will be able to treat it effectively, just like any other chronic disease.

I can recommend something more effective. Do some research on the connection between alcoholism, depression and hypoglycemia.
It is much easier to quit drinking once you have taken care of your nutritional needs. Stop eating sugar and refined carbs. Eat more complex carbs and protein, having 5-6 small meals a day. It works for me. I quit drinking, and also lost 20 pounds.

I wouldn't put my hopes on a non-existent being. You can help yourself a lot by thinking things through. For example, think about what you really want to do in life, look at the world and see that you're already well off, think whether alcohol can really bring happiness, stuff like that.
I hope you get well soon.

just tell him like if you were talking to your best friend!! ask him to take away (you name it). but don't let Jesus do all the work, you have to put of yourself, he'll make you new if you seek him, the more you seek him in prayer the more benefits you'll get!! Let me tell you that this can be a process, but don't look back!! blessing
read his word and seek counseling with other people that had been thru what you're going thru now, this can help a lot!!

The Scripture says, "Pray without ceasing." I know that that's an extremely short answer, but praying in all sincerity and doing what you're told by doctors and such is the beginning.

i does not bypass so a techniques as asserting that they replaced it because of the fact of political tension. If a psychological ailment is a psychological ailment the DSM-IV won't say different sensible in basic terms because of the fact human beings do not consider it. Many think of that PTSD isn't a justified "illness" yet it continues to be listed. "If evolution is actual why might homosexuals proceed to exist in view that they can't procreate for sure?" homosexuals CAN procreate for sure, I surely have a daughter, conceived for sure, birthed for sure yet i'm a gay. gay adult men are on the comparable danger as all of us else that practices anal intercourse. they are at extra desirable danger because of the fact of ways tender the rectum epidermis is, it tear very very very somewhat, subsequently offering a fashion for the HIV virus to pass into quickly into the blood stream. melancholy and suicide is very undemanding between the LGBTQ community because of the fact they are ridiculed by potential of lots of. Hey, I really think you should check out Alcoholic's Anonymous, their meetings, and their "Big Book" (it's really not that big) or other similar 12-step programs.
I know some people going through that process, it does involve God, and it's amazing how much they've been able to stay sober, and how much happier they seem these days.
Good luck
