As a trade in against a retail valued car its worth roughly £3500.

It really depends on where you intend selling it. if you want to use autotrader use the price of similar cars as a guide. Likewise ebay look at the price of past cars the same as yours.

go look on ebay and autotrader.co.uk

its not so much its value, its what you can persuade someone to pay for it.

dealers will always offer you almost nothing, and a week later its on the forecourt for 2 grand more than they paid...but thats bussiness. sell it privately, a decent ad on Eb is 10 quid... its money well spent... and its target audience is worldwide. im not saying someone from shanghai will make the journey, but someone 350 miles away might. ( i travelled almost 1500 miles to buy my volvo) and it was well worth it, ive had it 4 years...

Take it to a dealer, ask the same question; then add 10 - 20% for retail (the dealers quote wholesale) and away you go with your answer.
