άφoβoς means fearless in feminine άφοβη.

I don't know modern Greek (only the ancient type), but the word seems to be an adjective meaning "without fear" or "fearless" - phobos is the Greek for fearful, and the a- prefix is an alpha privative (an alpha at the beginning of a word that gives a negative meaning, as in the English "amoral" or "asexual").

Ith... is right, άφοβος means fearless in greek, although you do not want to know what the above-mentioned user's name means... In modern Greek for a female it should be "άφοβη", but "άφοβος" is also right as an "older" version.
